ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number) is a nine-digit number issued by the IRS for individuals not eligible for a Social Security Number (SSN) but with tax obligations in the US.

- Foreign investors with US income

How to Apply for ITIN
- Complete Form W-7
- Submit identity documents (passport, birth certificate)
- Mail to IRS or apply through an authorized CAA (Certifying Acceptance Agent)

Using a CAA allows you to apply without sending original documents. Processing time is typically 7–11 weeks.
